Below are the updated terms and conditions for the Scholarship Excellence Exam, including
the specific timing and updated subjects for both wings.
Examination Overview
- Objective: To identify meritorious students for scholarship awards.
- Eligibility: Students applying for admission to [Class/Grade – I to IX].
Exam Pattern: Written Test (MCQ and/or Descriptive)
Subjects: Math, EVS/ Science, English and General Awareness
1.Eligibility and Examination Categories
Candidates must register under the appropriate category based on their current academic
grade:
- Primary (Classes I to V)
- Secondary (Classes VI to IX)
2.Examination Schedule & Timing
Strict adherence to the following schedule is mandatory. Late entry will not be permitted
once the exam has commenced.

3.Subject Syllabus
The examination will assess students across four key areas as per their category:
- Class I to V: English, Mathematics, Science, and General Knowledge.
- Class VI to IX: English, Reasoning, Mathematics, and General Awareness.
4.General Instructions & Conduct
- Reporting: Candidates must be present at the venue (or logged in for online tests) at
least 30 minutes prior to the start time for identity verification and briefing. - Identification: Students must carry the Printed receipt (ADMIT CARD) received in
their email ID during registrations and valid School ID card or Aadhar Card/any
identity card (if any). - Prohibited Items: Use of calculators, mobile phones, smartwatches, or any electronic
study aids are strictly prohibited. - Integrity: Any form of malpractice, including talking during the exam or copying, will
lead to immediate disqualification and forfeiture of the registration fee.
5.Selection and Results
- Merit-Based: Scholarships are awarded strictly on the basis of performance.
- Tie-Breaking Policy: In case of identical scores, the candidate with higher marks in
Mathematics will be ranked higher. For Junior Wing students, the second tie-breaker
will be the Reasoning score. - Finality: The decision of the Examination Committee regarding results and
scholarship disbursement is final and binding. No re-evaluation requests will be
entertained.
Examination Process
- 1. Registration: Students register online/offline with required documents.
- 2. Admit Card: Issued to registered students with Exam details.
- 3. Exam Date and Time: 14th February 2026 and Time will be as per the email you received while submit the application
- 4. Exam Center: Delhi World Public School, Purulia.
- 5. Exam Format: Pen and Paper/Duration – 90 Minutes.
Result Declaration: 23 February 2026
Merit List: Prepared based on Exam Performance
Scholarship Benefits:
- 98-100%: 100% waiver on admission fees
- 95%-97%: 75% waiver on admission fees
- 90%-95%: 50% waiver on admission fees
- 85-90%: 25% waiver on admission fees
- 10% concession on admission fees for all applicants / participants
- There is a special privilege for the wards of Police and all Armed Forces

Exam Guidelines:
- i. All Scholars to come for the Scholarship Examination in their respective School Uniform.
- ii. Bring your own pen/pencil kit and clip board.
- iii. Bring the School Id card, Admit Card & Aadhaar Card.
- iv. Reach the respective venue 30 minutes before the stipulated time.
- v. Bring along your water bottle.

- All applicants / participants will be eligible for 10% concession on Admission Fees
- There is a special privilege for the wards of Police and all Armed Forces
- School Management reserves the right of final award of all scholarships.
